His years in public accounting, and especially his experience in Mergers & Acquisitions with PricewaterhouseCoopers, reinforced his lifelong belief it is the people that make a company successful and valuable. After four years of growing a national restaurant chain as their Executive Vice-president, he decided to combine his business and CPA experience with his passion for building successful teams. He accepted a position at Dopkins & Company and became the Director of Talent Acquisition. Dopkins is a large, regional CPA and consultancy firm focused on growing its firm by building a cohesive culture of people who understand, respect, and support each other’s success. It was at this company that he was introduced to the behavioral-based assessment software company Predictive Index (PI). By developing a hiring process that included PI, behavioral-based interview questions, and a tailored hiring system, the firm’s turnover decreased dramatically, and the realization rate increased significantly. and
When he started his talent optimization company, he realized he needed scientifically based software that would help companies decrease turnover, increase the effectiveness of communication and build better teams. It was a no-brainer, he became a PI strategic partner. Through his partnership with PI, he provides companies access to the PI advantage to build better teams, cultures and increased retention.
Predictive Index assessments are developed following recognized psychological standards and guidelines, including the American Psychological Association (APA), the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), and the International Test Commission (ITC). These guidelines provide a framework for test construction and the proper use of assessments.
